User Account & Scan History: For authenticated users, scan logs, dietary preferences, and saved meal grades are securely encrypted and tied strictly to your registered email account.
Technical Diagnostics: Anonymized crash logs, app version numbers, and performance metrics to ensure zero latency during live camera OCR and Vision AI processing.

3. Strict Zero Data-Selling Guarantee

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or trade your personal or dietary data to food manufacturers, third-party advertisers, insurance providers, or data brokers. Your ingredient scans and dietary flags are private.

All data in transit is encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 cryptographic protocols. Passwords and credentials use industry-standard Bcrypt hashing ($N=12$), and API endpoints enforce strict token-based authentication.

5. GDPR & CCPA User Rights (Account & Data Deletion)

Regardless of your geographic jurisdiction, you have full control over your data:

Right of Access & Export: Request a complete machine-readable copy of your profile and scan history.
Right to Erasure (Complete Deletion): You can permanently delete your entire account and associated scan history at any time directly through your profile settings or by emailing support@kyflabs.com.
